Meritus Mobile Unit

A mobile unit from our local hospital, Meritus Medical Center, was able to come to our property to adminsiter initial Covid and booster vaccines. A total of 46 employees received vaccines! We are grateful that we are able to protect ourselves, and those around us, in the fight to end Covid-19.

Jamison Door Company announces the merger of Jamison Door Company with BMP Europe, S.r.l. Jamison Door Company, founded in 1906, with its 5 manufacturing plants, is the largest manufacturer of temperature controlled and specialty doors in North America.

BMP Europe, S.r.l. was founded in 1997 and is managed by its CEO, Danilo Benotto. Their headquarters is in Piedmont region of northern Italy. BMP is one of the world leading companies manufacturing high speed industrial doors and sell over 10,000 doors a year. BMP designs and manufactures industrial doors, roll-up doors, high speed doors, commercial doors, insulated doors, roller shutters, and hangar doors. They also provide an efficient after-sales support service.

John Williams, Chairman and CEO of Jamison Door Company, describes the merger as follows, “I have never seen a better joining of complimentary product lines, manufacturing expertise, engineering ability, management style, culture, and vision. I have always been extremely concerned for the continuation and legacy of the Jamison Door Company and all its employees. Through this merger, I’m confident that our employees, culture, and history will not only continue but will flourish.”

The headquarters for the combined entity’s North American operations will continue to be at the Hagerstown location. No layoffs are expected. The current Jamison Door Company management team will continue to lead the North American operation.
